Day 0:
Pick up at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to House of West Kili Lodge 30 minutes. This lodge is based on the way to Lemosho route. Has the perfect view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy your lovely stay in this lodge with comfortable beds and hot shower. Overnight stay based on bed and breakfast.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast with packed picnic lunches continues walking to Shira one camp. The day is longer and perfect view. Great view of Shira and Kibo Peaks. The walk takes about 5-6 hours. Dinner and overnight at Shira One camp 3,450m full board basis.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, continue walking to Shira two campsite. This day you will be walking on heather and Moorland Zone. The walk takes about 3 hours. Get hot lunch at the camp. After lunch walk up one hour for the acclimatization. Later come to the camp for dinner and overnight 3,800m full board basis.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast with packed picnic lunches, continue walking to Baranco camp. Walking through Moorland and alpine desert. You will pass to Lava tower 4,600m. Get picnic lunch at Lava tower for about 30 minutes. After lunch descend to Baranco camp. The walk takes about 6hrs. Overnight stay at Baranco camp 3,950m full board basis.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast continues walking passing Baranco wall. The walk takes about 3-4 hours. Get hot lunch at Karanga camp. After lunch relax for about one hour. Then walk up one hour for the acclimatization. Come for dinner and overnight at Karanga camp 3,930m full board basis.
Day 6:
Morning after breakfast with picnic lunches continue walking to Barafu camp through alpine desert. The walk to barafu camp takes about 2-3hrs. Dinner and overnight at Barafu camp 4,673m full board basis.
Day 7:
Mid night after refreshing tea with cookies start walking for summit. The walk to the summit takes about 6-7 hours. After arriving at the summit of Kilimanjaro UHURU PEAK 5,895m, take photos for about 20 minutes. After pictures descend to Mweka camp via Barafu camp. The walk down takes about 6 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweka campsite 3,100m full board basis.
Day 8:
Morning after breakfast descends to Mweka park gate for about 3-4 hours. Meet Van and transfer to House of West Kili lodge 1 hour. Overnight stay at House of West Kili bed and breakfast. Please note; Day9, Our driver will pick you at the Lodge and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your home flight or Zanzibar. This will be end of our services.
